H beam transaction prices slide in Taiwanese market
|
The transaction prices of H beams have dipped to break US$25,000/ton in the Taiwanese market recently.
At present, the transaction prices of small-size H beams are at NT$24,700~NT$24,900/ton.
In fact, the upstream producers remained the list prices of H beams are NT$25,500~NT$25,600/ton; however, the distributors still cut the transaction prices to gain orders.
Dealers said that the H beam prices were affected by the weak real estate market in Taiwan as the government cooled real estate speculation.
