Tokyo Steel cuts scrap purchase prices again
|
It’s reported that Japanese Tokyo Steel announced to cut the scrap purchase prices by ¥1,000/ton from June 7th.
After the adjustment, its latest purchase prices of H2 scrap are at ¥25,500~¥28,000/ton.
Among them, the H2 scrap purchase prices in Okayama plant is at ¥27,500/ton; that in Kyushu plant is at ¥27,500~¥28,000/ton; that in Tahara plant is at ¥27,500/ton; that in Utsunomiya plant is at ¥27,000/ton and that in Takamatsu steel center is at ¥25,500/ton.
It’s known that Tokyo Steel has reduced the scrap purchase prices continuously since June and the total price cut has amounted to ¥3,000/ton.
