US H1 scrap average prices fall
|
Reportedly, the average prices of the US’s H1 scrap in Pittsburgh, Chicago and Philadelphia were at US$385.83/long ton on June 4th, 2012, falling by US$13.34/long ton from a week earlier.
Also, this is the first time that the US H1 scrap average prices decrease over the past two months.
Among them, the average H1 scrap prices in Pittsburgh were at US$389.5/long ton, that in Chicago was at US$404.5/long ton, remaining flat from the previous week; while, that in Philadelphia dropped by US$40/long ton from a week ago to US$363.5/long ton.
In the given period of time, the average H1 scrap in New York, Boston, and Houston were at US$350.83/long ton, keeping unchanged from the previous week.
