TransCanada to establish natural gas pipeline
|
Reportedly, TransCanada Corporation, a major North American energy company based in Calgary, Alberta said that it will establish natural gas pipeline for the Coastal GasLink project to transport the natural gas to LNG Canada liquefied natural gas export facility from the Montney gas-producing region.
The project is a joint venture formed by Shell Canada Limited, Korea Gas Corporation, Mitsubishi Corporation and PetroChina Company Limited.
The pipeline which consists of 700 kilometers of large diameter pipes is capable of transporting 1.7 billion cubic feet of gas per day.
