Turkey’s purchase prices of foreign scraps continue falling

Recently, Turkey’s purchase prices of foreign scraps have continued falling.
It’s known that Turkey purchased HMS 80:20 (1&2) from the UK with prices of US$400/ton C&F, decreasing by US$8/ton from the previous buy.
In addition, the quotes of the US HMS 80:20 (1&2) to Turkey have decreased to US$415/ton C&F recently. However, the prices seems unfavorable to Turkish buyers.
Therefore, it’s said that some scrap suppliers in the US have reduced the export quotes of HMS 80:20 (1&2) to Turkey to US$400~US$410/ton C&F.
