Taiwanese EF rebar mill buys Japanese H2 scrap with US$415/ton C&F

It’s reported that an electric furnace (EF) rebar mill in Taiwan purchase the Japanese H2 scrap with prices of US$415/ton C&F this week.
In fact, the Taiwanese steel mills previously intended to buy the scrap from the US. However, since the US scrap prices are higher than the Japanese offers recently, the Taiwanese buyers have turned to purchase from Japan.
