ThyssenKrupp to complete facility modernization at its Bochum plant

It is reported that Germany's ThyssenKrupp announced to complete the facility modernization in its Bochum plant, helping to increase the equipment efficiency and the quality improvement of its steel products.
Also, the company planned to upgrade other facilities including the cooling section with a laminar-flow system, aiming to increase production output for high-strength and ultra-high-strength steels.
Meanwhile, the company has also upgraded the continuous pickling line at the cold rolling mill in order to improve the product surface quality whiling pickling process.
The company has invested approximately €140 million for the modernization program since 2007.
