Yieh Hsing remains wire rod prices unchanged for June

Yieh Hsing, one of the major wire rod producers in Taiwan announced to remain its June list prices of wire rod unchanged on May 31th.
After the adjustment, the company’s latest list prices of Al-killed wire rod are at NT$26,800/ton; that of rimmed wire rod is at NT$25,800/ton and that of killed wire rod is at NT$24,800/ton.
Yieh Hsing stated that it decided to keep its June list prices unchanged as it considered the current weak market demand.
In addition, most steel mills in Taiwan including China Steel Corp. (CSC) and Quintain Steel have also remained the June list prices unchanged.
Industry sources forecasted that the Taiwanese wire rod market would remain stable in the near future.
