Voestalpine sees steady operating profit in FY2012/13

According to report, Austrian specialty steel group Voestalpine said it will keep the operating profit in fiscal year 2012/13 though facing the difficult market conditions.
The company’s earnings in fiscal year 2011/12 declined by 28.8%. However, it observes the downstream activities and is confident the result should be on similar level in fiscal year 2011/12.
Its EBIT in the fourth quarter were at €27.8 million, which have beaten the earlier estimation of zero.
