Taiwanese screw exports to Europe may slide further
|
It’s forecasted that Taiwan’s screw exports to Europe might slide further after August due to uncertain economy in euro zone.
In fact, Taiwan’s April screw exports hit the highest level since this year, driven by rebounded export volumes to Europe.
However, Taiwan’s April screw exports to Spain, Greece and Italy continued falling. The country’s April screw exports to Spain totaled 1,095 tons, decreasing by 12% from a month earlier and slumping by 36.36% year on year; that of Italy was at 2,473 tons, down by 11% month on month and reducing by 46% year on year.
For the prospect, the Taiwanese screw makers forecasted that the screw exports to Europe would decline further after August due to gloomy economy in euro zone.
