Mexico is to review AD duties on seamless steel tubes from China
|
It is reported that Mexico starts the review of AD duties on seamless steel tubes from China. At present, the imports of these products from China pay up to 56% of antidumping duties.
Tenaris’s Mexican unit Tamsa urged that the duties should be reviewed because the current quota is insufficient to compensate the damage caused by the unfair competition.
According to the official gazette by Ministry of Economy, seamless steel tubes imported from China increased by 36% from 2009 to 2010, and 95% in 2011.
The Ministry said that the analysis period runs from January 1st, 2009 to December 31st, 2011, while the review period extends from January 1st to December 31st, 2011.
They will give 23 working days for producers who are interested in this investigation.
