Turkey’s March imports of stainless steel sheets surge by 11% m-o-m

According to the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), Turkey imported 31,596 tons of stainless steel sheets in March, decreasing by 13% year on year while rising by 11% from a month earlier.
In the first quarter of this year, the country’s imports of stainless steel sheet totaled 91,697 tons, up slightly by 1% in comparison of that in the same period of a year earlier.
