European stainless producers hike stainless surcharge slightly for June

According to report, the European alloy surcharge for austenitic grade will increase a slightly in June, after continuous declines in the past few months.
Steelmaker Outokumpu increased the grade 304 prices by €6/ton to €1,414/ton. And the surcharge for ferritic 430 grade rose by €31/ton to €527/ton. Other steelmakers, including Acerinox and ThyssenKrupp both hiked the surcharges.
It is analyzed that nickel prices have almost touched the bottom; therefore, it may not decrease further.
