CSC keeps steel wire and bar prices unchanged for July and August

Reportedly, China Steel Corp. (CSC), the largest steelmaker in Taiwan announced to keep the list prices of steel wire and bar unchanged at NT$26,800/ton for July and August deliveries, considering to weak demand from the US and Europe, falling steel prices in China and downstream screw makers’ bad performance in overseas market.
In addition, CSC has remained its list prices of steel wire and bar unchanged for consecutive four months.
CSC expected that the unchanged prices policy for steel wire and bar could help its downstream buyers enhance competiveness.
