Turkey’s imports of seamless pipes rise by 26% m-o-m in March

According to statistics released by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), Turkey imported 20,107 tons of seamless pipes in March, soaring by 26% from a month earlier while falling by 15% year on year.
In March, China was the largest seamless pipe exporter to Turkey with 6,937 tons and Russia was the second largest one with 4,227 tons.
In the first quarter of this year, Turkey’s imports of seamless pipes totaled 48,273 tons, decreasing by 28% in comparison of that in the same period of a year earlier.
