China’s heavy plate export quotes to South Korea drop by US$20/ton

Recently, China’s export quotes of heavy plates to South Korea have decreased obviously.
It’s known that the contract prices of heavy plates for July and August deliveries have fallen to US$630/ton CFR. The price dip has reached US$20/ton over the past two months.
It’s analyzed that the price dip was caused by the reduced demand in the South Korean domestic market.
