Ferrexpo’s Ukrainian subsidiary to run full capacity

Swiss-based Ferrexpo stated that its Ukrainian subsidiary Ferrexpo Poltava Mining will continue operating at full capacity.
In addition, the company will keep raising the pellets production to 12 million tons per year in 2014.
The firm’s own ore pellet output rose by 6.2% in the first four months of this year. At the same time, the sales volumes totaled 3 million tons, keeping flat from that in the same period of a year earlier.
However, the selling prices of ore pellets dropped by 9% in the first four months of this year, due to lower market prices.
