Echeng Steel supplies steel plate for Marine Oil 981 oil rig in South China Sea

Hubei Daily reported that Echeng Steel,a subsidiary of Wuhan Iron and Steel Corp. (Wisco) has recently contracted to supply 30,000 tons of steel plate products for sixth generation of Marine Oil 981 oil rig project in South China Sea.
Also, the firm has planned to supply new developed DH36 grade of steel plate at 12mm~60mm in thickness to fulfill the demand from oil rig sector.
This is considered as a step for the company to expand its competitiveness for steel plate in this special industry.
