South Korea’s galvanized steel plate export surge substantially in April
|
Reportedly, South Korea’s imports of galvanized steel plates have continued rising in April.
According to statistics, South Korea exported 57,391 tons of galvanized steel plates in April, soaring by 21% from a month earlier and surging substantially by 151% in comparison of that in the same period of a year earlier.
In the first four months, the country exported 41,299 tons of galvanized steel plates, jumping significantly by 2.5 times year on year.
It’s analyzed that the South Korean steelmakers have aimed to sell the steel products to overseas market due to weak demand from domestic market, causing the exports surge substantially.
