NAS reduces stainless surcharge for June
|
Reportedly, North America Stainless (NAS) announced to cut the alloy surcharge for its stainless steel products for June, following the other major stainless steelmakers in the country.
The firm’s June alloy surcharges for 304 grade stainless steel products are at US$0.8492/lb., decreasing by 2.9%; that for 201 grade is at US$0.5668/lb., down by 2.2%; that for 316 grade is at US$1.2315/lb., falling by 2.8%, all compared to that in a month earlier.
In addition, NAS set the alloy surcharges for 430 grade products which contain no nickel at US$0.278/lb., up by 0.4% month on month.
