Chinese Bengang Rolling Plant begins relocation project

Chinese steelmaker Benxi Steel announced that its subsidiary Bengang Rolling Plant has begun construction work on its relocation project.
The new location will help increase the plant's annual output capacity to reach 15,000 tons, with a newly-added cold rolling steel output capacity of 3,000 tons annually.
The project is comprised by three phases. Phase one involves the construction of a 150,000 square meter workshop with hot rolling and cold rolling production lines and related facilities.
The firm expected to put it into production by the end of 2013.
