Chinese Shagang ITC reports 70% rise in finished steel exports in first four months

It is reported that Shagang International Trade Co. (Shagang ITC), the subsidiary of Chinese steelmaker Shagang announced that it exported 927,900 tons of finished steel produced by Shagang in the first four months of the current year, with sales revenues reached US$613 million, increasing by 69.82% and 57.46% compared to the same period of last year respectively.
In April alone, Shagang ITC's exports of finished steel made by Shagang amounted to 327,300 tons with US$217 million of revenue in total.
The company is aiming to export 2.33 million tons of finished steel products this year.
