CSC faces difficulty to hike steel wire rod and bar price for Jul/Aug

China Steel Corp. (CSC) announced to keep its list prices of electric furnace (EF) Al-killed wire rod price unchanged for June yesterday, remaining flat for consecutive six months.
Affected by this factor, CSC may face difficulty to hike its wire rod and bar price for July and August due to weak demand.
In fact, CSC cut the prices of steel wire and bar by NT$2,000/ton for January and February and the company started to keep the prices flat at NT$26,800/ton since March.
