AK Steel cuts surcharges for stainless steel products for June
|
Recently, Ohio-based AK Steel announced to cut its alloy surcharge for stainless steel products for June delivery.
After the adjustment, its June alloy surcharges for 304 grade stainless coils are at US$0.85/lb., decreasing from US$0.887/lb. in a month earlier; that for 316 grade products is at US$1.23/lb., down from US$1.26/lb. in the previous month.
However, the company’s June alloy surcharges for 430 grade products are at US$0.280/ton, up slightly from US$0.275/lb. in a month ago.
