US H section steel prices soft on sluggish demand

Reportedly, the H section steel prices have become soft in the US market due to sluggish demand.
It’s said that the steelmakers have continued offering discounts to gain orders. Though the quotes of H section steel are at US$840/short ton, the actual selling prices are at US$720~US$820/short tons.
For the prospect, traders said that the H section steel prices might remain weak in the US market in the short term.
