Kardemir posts output and profit up in Q1
|
According to report, Turkish long steelmaker Kardemir posted its Q1 operational profit TRY 60.1 million from the same period of last year of TRY 44.4 million.
The production was 373,467 tons of crude steel, also rose from 302,190 tons in Q1 of 2011. It also produced billet by 262,557 tons, up from 225,017 tons also same period last year.
The total sales were TRY 414.9 million, higher than TRY 295.6 million.
