EU closes AD investigation on steel pipes from Belarus
|
Reportedly, the EU closed the antidumping investigation on iron and steel seamless pipes and tubes imported from Belarus into the 27-nation zone at below cost after EU producers withdrew the complaint alleging price undercutting.
The European Commission opened the probe in June 2011, based on a dumping complaint by a producer group called Defense Committee of the Seamless Steel Tubes Industry of the European Union.
However, the committee withdrew this complaint on January, 26t, 2012, according to EU’s trade authority in Brussels.
