Damstahl: European stainless steel market softens again in April
|
According to report of Germany-based service center Damstahl, the European stainless steel market will become soft again in both March and April after a temporary improvement in the first two months of this year due to speculative purchase for stocks.
Currently, the European stainless steel market fulfilled unknown factors, including the economic downturn and euro debts problems, affecting the market demand to remain sluggish at this moment.
However, Damstahl predicted the European stainless steel market would improve in the whole 2012 if the market demand continues to improve from the countries, including Denmark, Germany, Sweden, Netherlands, Norway and the UK.
Meanwhile, stainless steel output expected to drop due to lack of demand and increasing raw materials prices, leading the business in negative conditions.
