Nucor keeps steel plate prices flat for May

It’s reported that Nucor currently announced to keep its selling prices of steel plates unchanged for May delivery.
It’s known that the company had ever hiked the selling prices of steel plates for April delivery by at least US$40/ton. However, the price rise was unfavorable to buyers due to weak demand.
At present, the mainstream quotes of the commercial grade A36 steel plates are at US$920~US$930/short ton in the US market.
