Scrap prices drop in Italian market in April
|
Reportedly, the scrap prices have dropped slightly in Italian market in April.
At present, the quotes of the HMS 80:20 (1&2) are at €310~€320/ton in Italian domestic market currently.
The sluggish bar industry in Italy has affected the demand for scrap, causing the scrap prices drop by €5~€10/ton in domestic market, an Italian scrap distributor said.
For the prospect, most dealers said that the scrap prices may remain weak in May due to the uncertain market situation.
