Taiwanese Sysco expects Q2 orders to recover
|
Sysco, one of major coating steel makers in Taiwan said its Q1 sales revenue totaled NT$4.424 billion, rising by 9.6% from a quarter earlier.
Sysco stated that the dip in Q1 sales was caused by the impact from the cheaper GI sources from China and South Korea.
For the prospect, Sysco expected that its Q2 exports to Southeast Asian markets would rebound by 30%~40% from a quarter earlier as the steel prices have been increasing in China and the demand from Southeast Asia has been rising.
