Taiwan’s export orders of basic metal drop by 0.7% in Q1

Taiwan’s exports order of basic metal and basic metal products amounted to US$2.7 billion in March, rising by 7.9% from a month earlier while decreasing by 2.2% year on year, according to statistics released by the Taiwan’s Ministry of Economic Affairs.
In the first quarter of this year, the country’s export orders of basic metal and basic metal products totaled US$7.35 billion, down slightly by 0.7% in comparison of that in the same period of a year earlier.
