China’s crude steel rise by 7.5% in first half of April

According to latest statistics released by China Iron & Steel Association (CISA), the country’s major steel enterprises’ daily crude steel output totaled 1.6592 million tons in the first half of April, rising by 5.04% from a half month earlier.
Accordingly, CISA forecasted that China’s daily crude steel output would be at 2.031 million tons, increasing by 7.45% from a half month ago.
Meanwhile, the Chinese major steelmakers’ daily sales volumes of steel products totaled 1.184 million tons in the first half of April, decreasing by 23.47% from a half month earlier.
