Vietnamese steel long product demand continues falling in Q1
|
Viet Nam Steel Association (VSA) forecasted that the country’s production and sales of construction steel would continue falling in this Q1.
VSA predicted that the production of construction steel would be at 1.12 million tons, decreasing by 16.6% and the sales volumes would be at 1.15 million tons, falling by 10%, both compared to that in the same period of a year earlier.
It’s analyzed that the Vietnamese government’s strict policy to depress inflation brought negative affect to the domestic steel industries.
