China’s iron ore imports down by 3% m-o-m in March
|
According to statistics released by China’s customs, China imported 62.87 million tons of iron ore in March, down by 3.2% from a month earlier while increasing by 5.7% year on year.
In March, the country imported 462,182 tons of unwrought copper and copper products, down by 4.8% while surging by 51.9% year on year.
In the first three months of this year, China imported 187.620 million tons of iron ore, rising by 6% in comparison of that in the same period of a year earlier.
In the given period of time, the country’s imports of unwrought copper and copper products amounted to 1.36 million tons, increasing by 50.5% year on year.
