Yieh Phui's March sales revenue falls by 2.4% m-o-m on appreciated NT dollar
|
Yieh Phui, one of the major coating steel rolling mills in Taiwan announced that its March sales revenue amounted to NT$2.469 billion, decreasing by 2.4% from a month earlier and falling by 19.49% year on year.
In fact, Yieh Phui’s shipping volumes in March remained at the same level of February; however, the appreciated New Taiwanese Dollar exchange rate caused its March sales decrease slightly, according to Yieh Phui.
In the first quarter of this year, Yieh Phui’s sales revenues totaled NT$7.111 billion, falling by 9.4% from a quarter earlier.
Meanwhile, the company’s received order volumes didn’t reach the higher level due to weak demand in March.
