Serbian Metalfer to build new mill to produce wire rod and rebar in coils

Reportedly, Metalfer, one of the major rebar mills in Serbia planned to establish a new rolling mills in order to produce wire rod and rebar in coils and the company was currently looking for equipment suppliers.
The company expected that the new rolling mills to have 250,000 tons of annual production capacity.
Also, it will be the only one producer who is capable of making wire rod and rebar in coils in the country.
Meanwhile, the new rolling mills will be able to produce wire rod with diameters of 5.5mm~12mm and rebar with diameters of 8mm~14mm.
