South African domestic steel industry’s PPI down by 2.7% m-o-m in February

According to statistics, South African Producer Price Index (PPI) in February increased by 0.9% from a month earlier while surging by 8.3% year on year.
In February, the South African domestic steel industry’s PPI slid by 2.7% month on month while increasing by 0.8% year on year. Meanwhile, the domestic steel products’ PPI dropped by 0.7% from a month earlier while soaring by 9.1% year on year.
