US’s tool steel imports up slightly on strong demand

It is reported that the US’s total imports of tool steel surged due to improved automotive demand recently.
Meanwhile, the tool steel usage has expected to close pre-crisis levels in US market according to analysts said.
Currently, China was the biggest supplier for exporting tool steel to the US market, rising by 37% in 2011 from 11% 2006.
In the meantime, the auto industrial has occupied about 65% of tool steel in US market in 2011 last year.
It expected to continue to boost for new demand till 2015 respectively.
