US crude steel output rise slightly by 1.8%
|
According to statistics, the crude steel output in the US domestic mills totaled 1.947 million short tons in the week ends on March 24th, increasing slightly by 1.8% from 1.913 million short tons in a week earlier.
Furthermore, the figures surged by 6.2%, in comparison of 1.834 million short tons in the same period of a year ago.
In the given period of time, the capacity utilization rate of the US steel mills were at 78.8%, higher than 77.4% in a week earlier.
