Indonesian Asmin Koalindo to provide coking coal to Krakatau Steel in 2 years
|
Asmin Koalindo, Indonesian premium coking coal supplier is reported to provide coking coal to Krakatau Steel in 2014.
Krakatau Steel is the largest integrated steel producer in Southeast Asia and Indonesia with production of additional 1.2 million tons of steel production in 2015.
Under the agreement, Asmin Koalindo will offer 900,000 tons of coal per year with a very special selling price to the largest steel producer of hot rolled coil (HRC) and cold rolled coil (CRC) in Indonesia.
Meanwhile, the average prices of coking coal are estimated to surge by 13% to US$230/ton in 2012 from US$200/ton in 2011.
