2012 Green Energy Iron making and Steelmaking in Japan

The Iron and Steel Institute of Japan (ISIJ) is pushing the production of green energy on the use for iron making and steelmaking in Japan this year.
Aiming to the realization of the Green Energy Iron making and Steelmaking, they are calling for papers related in this field and encouraging to submit the papers based on the new concept for developing and progressing the Green Energy Iron making and Steelmaking from other industrial fields.
The utilization of the Green Energy (hydrogen) in the steel industry for decreasing CO2 emission and producing the green hydrogen are important issues.
Saving a fossil fuel to the minimum level by using a waste heat from steel plant, COG, biomass and nuclear energy is very important.
ISIJ will publish the papers in August 2012 and maintain Japanese technology of iron and steel making is in the lead.
