|
According to the data from port Authority today, iron ore shipments from Australia’s Port Hedland increased to 21.4 million tons in last December from 19.8 million tons in last November.
Also, the shipments to China increased 16.6 million tons from 14.7 million tons in last November.
The increase showed Chinese mills’ iron ore stocks turned lower as most mills’ destocking activities in the Q4.
However, this month purchase will be lower due to coming Chinese New Year holiday.
Meanwhile, the prices for 61.5% Pilbara fines increased by US$1/ton to reach US$139~US$140/ton.
