Germany’s new orders of building construction drop in October
|
According to Destatis, German Federal Statistical Office, German building construction and civil and underground engineering enterprises’ order values dropped by 6% year on year in October.
In October, the country’s demand for building construction declined by 4.9%; that for civil and underground engineering was down by 17%, both compared to that in the same period of last year.
Meanwhile, the turnover in building construction totaled €9 billion in October, rose by 2.7% year on year.
In the first ten months of this year , the German construction industry’s order values surged by 2.9% in comparison of that in the same period of a year earlier.
In the given period of time, the turnover of German construction industry soared by 11.4% to reach €74.2 billion.
