H beam prices drop further in Taiwanese market

Recently, the transaction prices of H beam have dropped further by NT$200/ton to NT$24,600~NT$25,000/ton in Taiwanese market due to sluggish demand.
Dealers indicated that since the upstream steel mills haven’t cut list prices, distributor may suffer from the losses caused by the dipped transaction prices.
It’s known that the prices of H beam with small dimension that steel mills offered to distributors were at NT$25,200/ton. Therefore, distributors may suffer from the loss of NT$200~NT$600/ton.
Meanwhile, the list prices of H beam with large dimension were at NT$27,200/ton; however, its transaction prices were at NT$26,100~NT$26,700/ton.
