Germany metal production investments dip in 2010
|
According to data released by Germany's Federal Statistical Office (Destatis), Germany’s industrial firms which own 20 or more employees invested nearly €46.9 billion in assets. This number was up slightly by 0.4% from a year earlier.
On the other hand, motor vehicle industry seemed to have a better performance. Industry of motor vehicles and motor vehicle parts enjoys an investment increase of 12.6% y-o-y, amounting to €10.4 billion.
However, the investments in the manufacture of metal products suffered from a slightly decrease by 0.1%.
