South Korean Posco’s new quotes of heavy plate to Asia at US$600/ton FOB

Recently, South Korean Posco has started the price negotiation of heavy plate with Asian buyers for the shipments during this December to next January.
It’s known that Posco offered the heavy plate quoted at US$600/ton FOB to Asian buyers.
South Korean steel plate mills have targeted on foreign market due to oversupply in domestic market.
For the prospect, it’s predicted that the Asian steel plate market may drop further in the near future as South Korean steel mills have cut prices to gain order in Asian market.
