Bhushan Steel posts 43.4% sales growth for Q2

Indian steelmaker Bhushan Steel has just posted a 43.4% net sales growth for the second quarter of its fiscal year 2011/12, citing flat products sales boom.
In the second quarter, Bhushan Steel sold 466,748 tons of flats products, increasing by 41.7% year-on-year, while its long products sales reached 86,639 tons, up by 3.8% y-o-y.
The company’s Q2 net sales reached INR 2,465 crore , while the net profit for Q2 fell by 20.1% to INR 207 crore.
