Indian NMDC's net profit surges sharply in Q2
|
National Mineral Development Corporation (NMDC), the state-owned mineral company in India, announced its revenue for second quarter in 2011 that the turnover and gross margin have reached around INR306 million and INR290 million, up by 24% and 41% respectively.
Also, its net profit after tax was around INR196 million, soaring by 42% from a year ago. It is believed that the Q2 revenue will be the second-highest record since the start-up phase of NMDC.
