Taiwanese steel pipe makers remain November list prices flat

It’s reported that Taiwanese steel pipe makers released to remain the November list prices unchanged in response to Chung Hung Steel’s price announcement.
It’s known that Chung Hung Steel announced to cut the November list prices of hot rolled (HR) and cold rolled (CR) steel by NT$200/ton and NT$300/ton respectively last Thursday.
Taiwanese steel pipe dealers said that they decided to keep the November list prices flat as Chung Hung Steel only cut the list price of hot rolled (HR) steel slightly by NT$200/ton.
However, industry sources indicated that the transaction prices of steel pipe may be lower than the list prices due to weak demand.
